- Ted Kooser is a visiting professor of English at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and was recently selected as the newest Poet Laureate of the United States. Kooser, considered Nebraska's greatest poet, is the author of ten full-length collections of poetry including Delights and Shadows (Copper Canyon Press, 2004) and (with Jim Harrison) Braided Creek (Copper Canyon Press, 2003), which won the Society for Midland Authors Poetry Prize.
